These are our standard heavy duty 19.5" x 19.5" Armor Interlocking Garage Flooring Tiles that are a fast and great looking solution for just about any floor regardless of its condition!. Their unique tight machined T-Joints have the highest rated roll over capacity of 160,000 lbs and an incredible 80,000 lbs static load capacity make them perfect as garage flooring, showroom floors, workshops, mechanical rooms, production areas, gyms, or vehicles as heavy as fully loaded fire engines! They are so strong they can bridge over cracks and divots 3" wide! American made with the highest quality solid PVC in the industry!

No other garage tile comes close to the type of performance of Armor Tiles. There's a big difference between roll over capacity and static load capacity. Some garage tiles have nice sounding roll over capacities but their static load capacity are only a fraction of that and will deform into a U shape with the edges sticking up when you have a heavy static load on them. Long stationary loads are even worse on hollow tiles such as car storage or product storage. Other tiles that look similar are not the same, they will slide, separate and deform with the slightest bit of wear and aging.

The best type of garage flooring are interlocking tiles that have locking tabs that are continuous around the whole tile not spaced out every few inches. Garage flooring tiles have to machined to the tightest tolerances so that they fit together properly and won't buckle up.

Armor Interlocking Garage Flooring Tiles may cost slightly more than other Garage Tiles due to the grade of the materials used in our proprietary PVC formulation, but we guarantee their quality for LIFE and it's transferable!! So if you move your tiles the warranty goes with them, if you leave your house to your children or a new buyer they assume the lifetime warranty! In other words they're guaranteed for life but will last 2-3 lifetimes!

Other garage tiles weighing a pound or less may save you a few dollars but they don't compare in quality, finished look or durability. Take a look at the bottom of so called "Solid Tiles" from the competition, they're only solid on the wear surface and completely hollow underneath that's why they weigh in ounces while our tiles weigh in pounds. Simply put you can't buy a better made or better looking interlocking garage tile.

Don't be fooled by thicker tiles, they are thicker because they have to be because they're hollow. So although most popular tiles are 3/8"-1/2" thick you are only getting a 1/16" wear surface versus our solid 1/4" tile. Also their Peg & Loop joints let water, corrosive road salts, dirt, small debris and oil from your car get into and under the floor. How do you think you're going to clean up all that stuff under there?

Our proprietary PVC formulation allow Armor Tiles to be flexible and will conform to the contour of your uneven floor without sacrificing strength. This is an important factor since we all know that no floor is perfectly level. This is where all Hollow Peg & Loop type tiles come up short, they're all very brittle causing them to make a horrible noise when driven called tile rattle and eventually cracking. Other tiles that are flexible are too soft and form ruts and indents. Armor Garage Tiles are sound deadening and super strong right out of the box! No popping, clicking or clacking noises and no tire ruts or indents, no mold or mildew!

WHEN WE SAY HEAVY DUTY WE MEAN IT! YOU COULD NEVER PUT THIS EQUIPMENT ON ANY PEG & LOOP TILE
AND HAVE IT SURVIVE!

Use the Heavy Duty Ramp Edge that makes a small 'ramp' from the tiles to the floor to reduce any chance of tripping on the edge. The ramp edge is sold separately by the lineal foot and comes in the length you order.

We strongly recommend this anti stain product, Hillway Direct Plus Cleaner and Maintainer for all tiles. It's a very high quality product that is very durable so minimum maintenance and or reapplications will be needed. We have not had any complaints about this product. You can even order the micro fiber mop from the same website which from our research has the best prices. This will prevent tire staining and add a little shine to your floor.

Flat Tiles are Tiles without a raised pattern but finished in an Orange Peel type surface for traction. We strongly suggest you order Flat Style Tiles if you do a lot of work with rolling tool chests, rolling carts or hydraulic floor jacks. Flat Tiles offer a smoother surface for your wheeled equipment to roll over vs the raised coin pattern.

NOTE: If you would like a two color floor simply enter the square footage of the first color into the quantity box then click add to cart, click continue shopping, then enter the square footage of the second color and add to cart.

TILES ARE SOLD BY THE SQUARE FOOT AND NOT BY THE TILE. SO YOU MUST ENTER THE TOTAL SQUARE FOOTAGE YOU NEED INTO THE QTY BOX NOT THE NUMBER OF TILES YOU NEED, WE WILL DETERMINE THAT FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.

GRAY & BLACK COIN PATTERN TILES NOW SHIP IN 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS . PLEASE ALLOW 3-4 WEEKS FOR FABRICATION OF OTHER COLORS PLUS NORMAL GROUND DELIVERY TIME. CUSTOM COLORS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ORDERS
3000 SF OR MORE. PLEASE ALLOW 6-8 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY ON ANY CUSTOM COLORS OR TWO COLOR FLOORS OTHER THAN GRAY & BLACK.

Tile price is per square foot and NOT per tile.

GARAGE FLOOR TILES

Armor Interlocking Garage Flooring Tiles

Our garage tiles come in a standard size of 19.5" x 19.5" (2.6 sq. ft/tile). Therefore you need to install less tiles than standard 1 sq ft tiles. You can easily trim or cut Armor Tiles with any type power saw! They cut smoothly and cleanly with no ragged edges! Install a 3 car garage in 3 hrs! Our larger Tile give your floor a far superior look compared to 12" tiles.

ORDERING INFO:

Tiles are sold per the sq ft, we suggest you add a minimum of 5% to the square footage of your floor to account for cutting waste or a cutting mistake. Simply enter the adjusted square footage of your floor into the qty order box and we'll determine the amount of tiles needed, we round up to the nearest full tile. Please note that orders of garage tiles UNDER 200 SF are not returnable. We very seldom sell floors that small and each batch of tiles varies slightly in color so that a small amount of the garage tiles being returned would not be resell-able due to the fact that they wouldn't match any new tiles being produced.

ORDER EXAMPLE: Floor is 22' x 20'= 440 sq/ft * 5% = 462 sq/ft. You enter the adjusted square footage of "462" in the qty order box. We'll determine the amount of tiles when we process your order, in this example the total number of tiles is 177.6 tiles which we would round up to 178 tiles.

Installing Garage tiles

Simply start from front to back installing full tiles. Leave the side wall and back wall cuts for last. If you end up with a small 1-3" piece on each side wall we suggest you shift the floor to one side to give yourself a bigger piece to work with.

We recommend that you cut the tabs of the front row tiles where you will slide the ramp edge onto and then put a bead of good construction adhesive under the ramp and part of the first row tiles to lock everything in place. You can also put some good epoxy glue such as JB Weld inside the U-Slot of the ramp edge to glue the tile to the inside of the edging for added strength.

Floor prep is simple, just sweep the floor clean. If gluing the floor down for commercial installations we suggest you power wash the floor to remove all dirt and loose debris. We would also suggest you mix a cup of TSP with 5 gallons of water and scrub that over the floor to degrease it. Oil or grease in the floor could effect the bonding of the adhesive.

The garage tiles can be cut with any power saw, circular cuts and cuts around door jambs can be made with a jig saw. If you only have a few of these cuts to be made you can use a utility knife even though its not very easy it can be done. If more than a few custs are need than a jig saw is a must.

If gluing the tiles down you should install aprox half the tiles then begin gluing the tiles down. Once the half is completed with the glue then you can remove the other half and reinstall them with glue. The reason for this extra step is make sure that you are installing the tiles perfectly square. If you are off a little bit you will get to a point where the interlocking tabs won't fit together. Not a big deal when not gluing them down but an obvious bigger problem if the tiles are glued down. Installing about half the floor loose will ensure you're tiles are square.

Once you've installed your new tiles be sure to protect them with the recommended tile sealer Tires today are made with new additives and plasticizers that can cause the rubber to leach out of your tires and stain the tiles. This holds true for any tile. See the FAQ section for cleaning and maintenance tips.

A note on tire marks; we get asked a lot if tires will leave marks on our tile. Staining is caused by a component used by manufacturers of car tires called ‘6PPD’ [phenaline diamine].

6PPD is an anti-oxidant and is added to rubber products to resist environmental attack by ozone and ultraviolet light. It also has other beneficial effects in the molding of rubber itself. Since it adds to the cost of making tires, manufacturers usually only add it to the softer high performance tires. So there are some off road tires and high performance tires with soft compounds that leach rubber onto the tiles. Recently we have seen these stain causing additives in regular street tires also so we strongly recommend Hillway Direct Plus Cleaner and Maintainer for all tiles. You can even order the micro fiber application mop from the same website which from our research has the best prices. This is a great product that will give you years of maintenance free service. We have never had a complaint about this product.
