BALLISTIX INTERIOR & EXTERIOR MULTI-SURFACE CLEAR COATINGS
BALLISTIX IS THE ULTIMATE SILICONE-CERAMIC SEALER FOR ALL SURFACES.

BEST MULTI-SURFACE CLEAR COATING
BallistiX is a new clear Silicone-Ceramic-Silane-Hybrid coating offering incredible performance unlike anything currently available, but at a competitive price and with easy installation. Outperforms urethanes, clear epoxies, polyaspartics and polyurea coatings. BalilistiX is a clear coating that can be applied to bare concrete, stained concrete, polished concrete, epoxy, terrazzo, urethanes, metallic epoxy, marble, stone, tile VCT, laminates, and virtually any surface. Ideal for epoxy countertops and coated floors. BallistiX resists virtually all petroleum products, brake cleaners, carburator cleaners, Skydrol(which is very nasty stuff that eats right through almost all coatings), acids(notice in the image above how Phosphoric Acid sits in a puddle on the Ballistix while eating through the other coatings!), chemicals and tire marks(high performance tires are notorious for staining floors). The BallistiX system is tailored to provide a long-lasting, stunningly beautiful, durable, sustainable, odor-free and chemical-resistant finish. It is designed to provide long-term protection from abrasive wear, microbial growth, odor, and chemical attack. Heat resistant up to 1,200 degrees(welding resistant), over 4X the heat resistance of epoxy! Prevents staining and marking, and makes cleaning and maintenance MUCH easier and lower cost. BallistiX is the first product that allows polished concrete to be used in automotive, food service, and chemical-type environments since it is fully resistant to almost anything that can fall on it. Ideal replacement for 'grind & seal' projects, eliminates the need for 'stain guard' on polished concrete, prevents tire marking from high performance tires on urethane and polyaspartic floors, and thousands of other uses. BallistiX is 100% UV stable and won't yellow, and will help to prevent discoloration from UV on anything it is applied to and is naturally NON-SKID. Easy to apply with minimal surface prep. Most applications just require cleaning with our 99% alcohol on microfiber mop, and then spraying BallistiX on with a pump type sprayer and then a light microfiber mop. Additional prep, if required, just use a floor buffer and the proper pad for the application sold by ArmorGarage. Available in gloss or satin finishes.
Typically clear coats for concrete are nothing more than sealers that look good when applied but dull and wear out very quickly and thus requiring constant resealing. Sort of like what happens when you seal your Deck instead of coating it. You keep sealing it every year until it's a total failure and you need to grind/sand everything off and start over. Why not do it the right way the first time?
Ballistix permanently bonds to your concrete and almost any other surface is for all intents and purposes indestructible due to it's nano ceramic technology. Suitable for outdoor applications and will not yellow. With an Abrasion loss rating of 3mg(the lower the better) this is among the hardest coatings made. Cannot be compared to urethanes, sealers or standard clear epoxies. Most clears you will buy and apply will have an abrasion loss rating north of 50mg if they even have a rating, a lot of them don't. The abrasion rating measures how much of a coating wears off during a specific friction test, so the lower the amount of material lost the better the coating is.The mistake most people make is buying a coating without knowing the abrasion rating, abrasion is what destroys most coatings and every type of sealer. It's the most important factor when considering any type of coating/sealer. Every time you turn a tire on it, move something across it or even when you walk on it you create abrasion that wears off a bit of whatever is on your floor. So the better the abrasion rating the less material will come off if any at all with the right product.
It's fantastic abrasion rating makes it a perfect protective clear topcoat over stained concrete. The problem with stained concrete is that the stain wears off fairly quickly leaving your floor in an unsightly condition. Outperforms contractor clear coats that are usually low quality residential duty type products. If you want some longevity to your newly stained floor this is the product you need to use.
Ballistix is suitable for forklift traffic, 18 wheelers, high volume car and foot traffic such as in auto service centers, warehouse floors, grow facilities, process floors, pole barns, hangars and many other applications. Unlike water based coatings and sealers Balistix is super hot tire proof and rated for floors with welding projects on it!
Also works as a fantastic anti graffiti coating. Bonds to any wall surface and makes it virtually impossible for paint to bond to your walls. Graffiti is easily removed with power washer or large scrub brush. Save thousands of dollars by not having to repaint or using toxic paint removing chemicals that damage the finish and exterior of your buildings. Use Squire for gloss finish or NCO for satin finish. Dries to the touch in 2-3 hours, can handle light traffic in 8-12 hours and heavy traffic in 24 hours depending on temperature and humidity. The cooler the temperature the longer you should let it cure. Above cure times are based on 75 degrees at 50% humidity. Do not apply below 60 degree floor temperature.
Normal applications do not need additional anti slip additive since Ballistix is naturally slip resistant.
Dollar for Dollar it doesn't get any better than this coating if you're looking for a cost effective way to protect and dress up your floor.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY BALLISTIX PRODUCT SALES DUE SPECIAL SHIPPING CONTAINERS AND HANDLING REQUIRED. ACTUAL SHIPPING CHARGE WILL BE ADDED UPON ORDER PROCESSING. BALLISTIX IS NOT RETURNABLE DUE TO DOT HAZMAT SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS THAT YOU AS A CONSUMER DO NOT COMPLY WITH.
Most applications are just one coat. For porous surfaces and unpolished or concrete floors that were not power troweled a primer coat is required. Apply finish coat within 10 minutes of primer coat using spike soles.
To apply material use of the Sprayer and Mop Pads are required for proper application. Fill garden sprayer with mixed product(see mixing instructions supplied with product. Spray product in a straight line from left to right, we recommend not going more than 6-10 feet laterally. A second person should follow the sprayer with the Mop and running the Mop straight over the line of sprayed material. When you reach the end of your lateral application line the sprayer moves down to the next row and proceeds right to left and the Mop is rotated down to the next line without lifting the mop to follow the line of the sprayer. Never lift the mop. Repeat this for approximately 10 rows, this will create a vertical wet edge to the right and a wet edge at the bottom. Proceed to the right side of the wet edge and fill in the rows as done previously. Then proceed to the first bottom wet edge on the left and continue down vertically. The idea is to always have a wet edge to work with and not to let it dry by putting too much material down in any one section or direction. When rotating down to the next row you should overlap the previous horizontal row by about an inch or two and when working to a vertical wet edge you should also overlap the vertical wet edge by about a couple of inches to ensure a monolithic finish coat.
Final coat will dry in 4-5 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Once dry you can have light traffic on the floor. Normal activity the next day. Allow 7 days for full cure before exposing to any chemicals and acids, this includes any cleaning chemicals. After the 7th day the coating is just about bullet proof.
